By of the Journal Sentinel Summer sure took awhile to arrive, at least temperature-wise. Remember when it seemed too cold in May and June? Steamy weather has finally showed up — just ask your air conditioner — and Milwaukee and Madison are currently on consecutive 80-degree streaks. The mercury has reached at least 80 degrees, though many days it was well above that, every day since July 17, according to the National Weather Service office in Sullivan. That ties the 17-day streak dating to July 24-Aug. 9, 1930, for second place. The only recorded longer streak of 80-degree days in Milwaukee was 22 days from June 28 to July 19, 1921. | Aug. 2, 2015 5:48 p.m. By of the Journal...
